Comfy EasyPC Learning System
I love my new Comfy EasyPC computer. I finally have a computer just like Mummy’s! My computer is suitable for children from 12 months, but of course I am a bigger than that now! My EasyPC has large colourful buttons and friendly characters that help teach me and guide me through lots of great activities. The best bit is it has lots of different games that will last me until I am a least 5.
I think the EasyPC would make a great birthday or Christmas present or an especially good present for a new baby brother or sister to give to you when they arrive. Cillian gave me mine. I love learning with my EasyPC when Mummy is sitting down and feeding Cillian. Mummy talks to me about what I am doing with the PC while she feeds Cillian, I love when Mummy sits down to feed Cillian because I can use my PC and mummy gives me her full attention. (At least that’s what I think).
One of the great features about the EasyPC is you can set it in lots of different languages. This is especially helpful for those of my friends who might live in a bi-lingual house. You can play the games in UK or American English first and then after you have learnt lots of the things in English you can change the language to something different! I have learnt how to talk in sentences and have learnt all of my shapes and colours while playing with my PC. Daddy loves when I scroll the roller and two balloons blow up and then join to make one, the red and blue ones make purple and the blue and yellow balloons make green Daddy and I try to guess what colour they are going to make.

I have received an email from a parent concerned about screen time and Darragh’s product of the month. I thought I would pop my response up here for you all to read.
I am aware of the research but as a mum to a newborn baby and a toddler I am also aware sometimes we have to find ways to keep everyone safe and happy in the household. In the ideal world I would live close enough to my family and my toddler would be cared for by family members and entertained while I breastfed my new baby but this is an unrealistic goal for me and lots of mums I know. So even with the current research which I have studied I feel a little supervised screen time to help a mum keep her sanity or keep her toddler safe and in one spot while she feeds is alright.

I think it is clear from Darragh’s review of the Easy PC that he only uses it when Cillian is being fed.
I think it is great that you have found a way to not only keep him entertained while you are focusing on Cillian, but also a way to educate him and not let him build resentment for the time that you spend with his new baby brother (which unfortunately happens too often these days).
As a mum to a 15 month old, with a new baby due in April, my little one will definitely be getting an Easy PC for Christmas!

I purchased one last week (which was to my house in less than 24 hours) as I too have a newborn and toddler. It is great and such a wonderful way for them to still feel like they are getting your attention when really you are focusing on your littlest. So eay to use, easy to set up and very reasonable price I think. Highly recommend it.

I am a bit confused as to how Easy PC works… is it standalone or do you need a separate ‘real’ PC to plug it into? I assume you need a separate monitor? I did look on the online shop but it doesn’t seem that clear as to what you need to make it work… either that or it is my pregnancy brain not getting it!

Thank you for your questions. The Easy PC requires a standard PC or a laptop to plug into to work. The keyboard simply plugs into a USB port of either your family PC or laptop. You then simply pop the ‘game’ disc in and the software downloads and you get a short cut to the game on your desktop. You do then need to remember though that unlike other computer games you NEED to have the disc in the computer everytime you want to play the game.
